This surface sliding bolt is identified by six visible fixing positions: four around the elongated backing plate and two additional holes beside the bolt outlet. A formed cover encloses the flat sliding member, while a compact T-shaped actuator moves within the long top slot. The reverse view shows stamped retaining tabs securing the housing to the plate. A separate open-center keeper receives the projecting bolt on the adjoining frame or panel. Slide-bolt units commonly use an exposed actuator moving through a control slot to advance or retract the bolt.

The additional fixing lugs around the bolt outlet create a different mounting layout from standard four-hole surface bolts. Before selection, buyers should verify the body dimensions, screw-hole spacing, bolt projection, keeper height, keeper position, surface offset, and required operating direction. The receiver must align with the bolt path, and sufficient clearance is needed around the thumb tab for full travel.

For OEM/ODM review, provide a dimensioned drawing or matching sample, installation photos, requested finish, quantity, and packaging requirements. State whether the bolt will operate horizontally or vertically and identify any alternative keeper geometry required for the application.
